The Last Unicornby *gem2niki

Trying to do something with what I mentioned on my journal. Evoke emotion. I sketched something similar to a sketch I did of a girl and swan...but decided why not do "Last Unicorn" instead XD I'm trying not to think too much of the whole technical aspect of it...just getting an idea across with simple drawing.

Anyways, I'm hoping a lot of you guys watched it when you were little? I remembered it was sometime in Kindergarten...there were a lot of adult theme that was introduced to me haha (ex: boob tree). But I remember loving how pretty the Unicorn was. So graceful. But the prince was ugly haha. My sisters and I would go "Ew, she shouldn't get with him. He's ugly!" haha. Watching it back again for reference, there are some lovely background designs.

(should go off and study for japanese final!!!)

Just saw the movie again and gosh, for a moment it was as if nothing had changed since back then when I saw it as a kid. You framed the spirit of it very well. Love it.
