Thoughts Headphones~!!! I dunno, but it seems like headphones theme is popular among HikaHaru fanarts XD The concept reminds me of my own artwork [link] I liked the way Hikaru's eyes are looking down while Haruhi's eyes are closed, listening to the music (in my version, from an mp3 player in Hikaru's pocket). So that's what I went for XD They're wearing matching outfits! (well, sort of, with opposite colors)

I''m not really fond of the coloring style I did here since I'm experimenting with just photoshop. The background I went for the simple design/vintage look.

The brushes, I found somewhere online...can't remember the name. But I really love the design.

I like the simple color scheme...
Somehow I think this would've been much cuter if they were sharing earbuds. But then again, the stereotypical sugary sweetness of that would've ruined the cooler and more composed ambience here. xD;
Nice job, and keep going with this art challenge! It's a very nice concept, and I might contribute...

(also, it's a little strange, but when I saw his expression, I immediately thought 'Hikaru!' instead of Kaoru. Even being identical twins, I guess their personalities link them to slightly different expressions.. so kudos for capturing that. :D)

Ouu XD I'm glad to hear XD;; Their expression does have some subtleties, even in Hatori's work it gets easy to distinguish them by expression...I guess I really like to separate them haha.
