Today is the 6th day of the Lunar New Year and it is the Year of the Dog!

Featuring Kaze.Co, my original characters that were also in my last years CNY pic [link] I am actually going to have a short little story of Kaze.Co in BAAUdown 5 [link] this year, so please be sure to purchase BD5 if its at your anime convention. The dog I drew is a Jindo, Korean dog. Its sooo adorable Thanks Pati for the suggesion of using Jindo as the dog.

I haven't cged a full image for sooo long, so my skills are very rusty, especially with Photoshop (I hardly use it any more cging). While working on this, I discovered you can adjust the opacity of the brush with the tablet in the Brush --> Other Dynamics....After years of using PS, I never knew this actually existed....XD;;; Now I can do some more painterly look in PS. Mostly I tried to keep with bold and bright colors. But that was hard, esp with the dog....I never ever cged animal before, so it was a challenge to get it looking more "anime-ish" than realistic and still have some furs. Also, the picture looked empty without a background (planned to leave it white) but I decided to keep with the grungy look as I did with the fish and cloud.

Lots of problems...but still hopefully this will give me a better start for the New Year!
