This was our first BFA project in Fall 2010. Our assignment was given by alumni working at ILM. Boardtrack racing was an old sport that was eventually banned in the 1930s. Our assignment was to design 3 characters, story moments, and a prop. My main character is a former racer turned mechanic with a wooden leg. He has become bitter from being unable to race anymore and slowly distanced himself away from his friends and girlfriend.
I revised it so many times for my portfolio/BFA gallery and then made prints to sell at Otakon. Even tho I made super limited prints, it sold out
