Divine Fang Chapter 3 - Melody

The first page to the left is colored completely in Photoshop 7.0 while the second page to the right is colored in Painter 8.0. So you can even compare the difference of how I approach both software.

I wanted to create a sorta of animanga opening in each chapter. It was fun to play with the mood of the color and make it look like it came off of an anime, except its in panels XD I wanted also to create the environment and lighting that surrounds the character, since I don't think I've actually done that much before. I'm not going to really tell what's going on with who these characters are on the left, if you haven't figured it out.

On the cover page (right), there is Tobire and his younger brother Yetae. I just made up the costume...so whether its like some sorta traditional custom to wear for something, I have no clue. But I definitely wanted to show some skin ahah....for appealing sake T3T The concept was to have Tobire play a flute and have cloths spreading from the wind/breeze. I added Yetae too fill in space XD;; It probably looks better if I extended the artwork more horizontal since there seem to be too much going on in this one canvas. But I tried to balance it with the simple background instead X3
