Ever seeking, ever hoping...

This was done for my final art project in my Beginning Drawing class drawn in about a 14x24 canvas...

Again, I love Native American-ish themes and I love nature so much I wanted to depict a landscape of mountains shined by the ray of light hidden in the clouds. I referenced a lot from Landscape paintings book and Native Americans costumes while adding a touch of my own designs. For the clouds, I started off from a ground tone and erased away~~ very fun and effective technique. I never really draw this way since....4 years ago? LOL. That show how much I'm lazy with traditional drawing...

Well, I wanted it to also relate to Divine Fang, so I added the speck of dragon in the center flying away. So this drawing is set in the pre-Beginning World of Divine Fang where Dragons once roamed the sky X3 or perhaps a single dragon predetermining their extinction....;; The two characters take a rest from their journey and watch the dragon fade from the ray of lights....

I accidentally saved the resized version over the large original after piecing them together from scanning on my computer T^T;;; *wahhh* Goddamnit..... *will have to rescan again...*
