2014 Summary of Art

Wow, I really haven't posted much on Deviantart last year. I've been busy working on my Free! artbook! which I haven't opened preorder yet...but soon! I've also been dealing with repetitive stress injury to both my arms from overworking with an art job during the day and artbook project at night, so there were several weeks and even month of break from drawing too much.

January: From December into January, worked on cleaning up Free! fanarts for artbook
February: Some doodlings on the side of different anime I was watching then
March: This was when I started noticing my arm was hurting...
April: Took a break from drawing. Tried to muster up something before I gave up again. It was really painful to draw.
May: Slowly recovering. Continue artbook and prints for con season.
June: Con season
July: One of the first speedpaints since April attempt. Momo-kun~~!! Mostly worked on artbook.
August: I will not back down on my love for Rintori!!!! Injured my arm again from work this time! I could barely hold a tablet during this period, but I still wanted to draw ><
September: Only draw occassionally.
October-December: Started physical therapy. Also still trying to finish artbook and finally sending it off to printer before I left for Japan in mid December.

The major lesson in 2014 was to TAKE BREAKS and STRETCH OFTEN. I'm still dealing with arm pains everyday, so its not recovering anytime soon...
